About the role

ABB Drives is now looking for a Junior Embedded Software Developer who wants to gain experience and is willing to learn more and grow as a professional with embedded systems. You will be working in development team within System Drives division. At first you will focus on developing existing software and help e.g. with troubleshooting bugs. You will start with easier tasks and more experienced colleagues will be there to support you. With time, you will have great possibility to get more tasks and responsibility. We are looking someone who enjoys learning and wants to take this position as a possibility to grow as an expert.

JOB DUTIES

In the beginning your main duty is to develop and maintain existing software and help to resolve problems that there might be. After gaining experience you will get more responsibility and more challenging tasks to work with, for example with new software.

We are looking for

Suitable educational background (E.g. Computer science or information engineering)
Good knowledge in embedded C++
Fluency in both written and spoken Finnish and English

It is a great advantage if you have interest towards electronics, embedded systems and software development and previous experience from for example hobbies.

As a person you are co-operative, willing to learn and develop yourself, and you enjoy working in a multicultural environment.
