About the role

Our client company is a well-known Finnish corporation and market leader in their field. You will hear more about them in the first round of interviews.

This position offers you a chance to work with mechanical design in an international environment. As a key member of the team, you will take part in driving impactful projects, from product change management and research to development and innovation, spanning from prototype to series manufacturing. You will work in hybrid mode in Hyvinkää or from your remote office.

Work tasks

Lead and oversee various projects related to components, product change management, research, and development
Collaborate with different stakeholders
Implement improvement initiatives based on feedback from stakeholders,
Provide support for longer-term development initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers

We are looking for

Relevant educational background, for example Mechanical engineering 📖
Few years of hands-on experience in mechanical design 💼
Demonstrated eperience in project management from e.g. studies ⏳
Proficiency in relevant mechanical design tools (Creo, PDM) and basic programming skills 💻
Understanding of different methodologies including but not limited to research and development and product life cycle management 🔍
Capability to define product specifications ⌨️
Fluent English skills (Finnish skills are seen as an advantage) 💬

An understanding of Electrical, Electronic, and/or Software Engineering is seen as an asset.
