About the role

As a Process Engineer, you will participate in the ramp-up of a new plating production line and ensure a high-quality process. Your job description includes, among other things, creating and implementing standardized chemical processes, ensuring transition to mass production in accordance with quality and safety requirements, and supporting process improvements and maintenance. In your work, you are proactive and independent, ensuring implementation in accordance with quality requirements, as well as necessary corrections related to quality. In addition, you produce working instructions and with your expertise also support other possible production lines and production methods.

Succeding in this role requires previous experience in chemical processes and the process industry, and more than your educational background, we value the experience and professional skills gained through work.

In the beginning, the main focus of your work will be on the ramp-up of the production line, which will also require on-site work at the Helsinki office. Later, the main focus of the task shifts to maintenance, support and process improvement, and the task also offers the possibility of partial remote work.

We are looking for

  • Relevant educational background (e.g. in material engineering or chemical engineering) or competence and expertise acquired through work experience
  • At least 3 years of work experience in metallurgy / chemical engineering
  • Knowledge on metals, chemical process, and plating process
  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills
