Python Developer (Expert)

Work tasks

The role involves leading product development from a technical perspective, designing and implementing solutions, and maintaining critical systems, with a strong focus on Python programming and financial risk modeling.

• Act as a technical lead and expert for the product
• Develop solution designs for new product features
• Collaborate closely with product management to understand requirements
• Develop Python programs utilizing libraries such as pandas and Polars
• Design and implement robust solutions to meet business requirements
• Provide technical support and resolve system issues for users
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, data models, and system diagrams

We are looking for

• Advanced knowledge and extensive experience (ideally 8-10 years) in Python programming, including libraries like pandas and Polars
• Good knowledge of orchestration, caching techniques, APIs, and cloud platforms
• Proven ability in solutioning and architecting complex applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure
• Experience with credit risk IRB models
