Work tasks

You will play key role in shaping firmware testing practices in collaborative environment with innovation and ownership. Natlink offers growth opportunities in an evolving tech landscape. Your work tasks will include:

• Develop and maintain high-quality firmware for embedded systems
• Champion test-driven development and stronger testing practices
• Work closely with hardware, QA, and platform teams
• Improve development workflows, tooling, and test automation
• Deliver reliable firmware releases on schedule

This position offers a path for growth into a Team Lead role. We are therefore looking for someone who is enthusiastic about developing into a leadership position over time.

We are looking for

• At least 5 years’ experience as a Firmware Developer in embedded systems
• Work experience as a Team Lead
• Strong background in testing, debugging, and validation
• Solid skills in C and embedded programming
• Understanding of microcontrollers, RTOS, and hardware–software integration
• Experience in wireless protocols (BLE, WIFI, LoRa, etc.)
• Familiarity with secure OTA updates
• Familiarity with test automation, CI/CD, and version control
• Fluent English skills
• Experience with IoT or low-power embedded systems

Following things are seen as an advantage:

• Background in QA/test process development.
• Cross-disciplinary experience (hardware, cloud, or mobile)
• Finnish language skills
• Experience in hunting domain
