About the role

As an SW Validation Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded software for sophisticated machinery. This dynamic role balances office-based testing with practical, hands-on validation directly with equipment, often in various field conditions.

Work tasks

This role focuses on validating embedded software in advanced machinery, requiring a blend of analytical testing and practical, hands-on work with physical equipment to ensure robust performance and reliability. You will execute comprehensive software tests for embedded systems, diagnose and meticulously document software defects and anomalies and conduct hands-on validation and troubleshooting on physical machinery.

We are looking for

• Suitable academical education in software engineering, electronics, or a related field
• Strong interest in embedded systems, electronics, or robotics (can be demonstrated via projects or hobbies)
• Good understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, Finnish is considered as a big plus

Practical experience in electrical installation or maintenance is seen as an advantage. Also experience in software or testing is seen as a plus.
