Technical Business Analyst for the banking sector, Helsinki

In this role, you will be tasked with the building of our client's capital calculation engine and adjustment tooling, which allows capital numbers to be efficiently generated both on production and ad hoc basis to satisfy multiple use cases. The hybrid position is tailored for a data-driven tech enthusiast who brings a robust technical background, proficiency in Python and React, strong expertise in SQL, and a proactive mindset for finding innovative solutions. The opportunity to contribute extends beyond coding, encompassing active participation in the ongoing project's development process. In addition to this, the current tech stack will be revisited, allowing you also to work with new technologies and cloud-based solutions.

• Project planning and development of system architecture and coding
• Internal collaboration with IT professionals and business stakeholders, incorporating functional and non-functional requirements into the development process

• Fluent English skills
• Relevant educational background e.g. Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics
• 2 years or more work experience with Business Analytics and programming
• Advanced experience with Python and SQL
• Experience with web-based front-end solutions e.g. React
• Experience in working with large data sets and databases

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience with Git/ Bitbucket, Jira, Docker
