About the role
As the summer trainee, you will support our client's engineering team in providing electrical solutions for large AC induction motors used in demanding industrial applications worldwide. You’ll assist in technical calculations, documentation, and day-to-day engineering support while learning from experienced professionals. The role evolves based on your skills and experience — more experienced students will be assigned more independent tasks, while those earlier in their studies will focus on assisting and balancing the team's workload.
The role is a perfect fit for someone in the later phase of their studies, and offers an opportunity to keep working part-time aside studies.
Approximately 50% of your working time is expected to be on-site in the Helsinki (Pitäjänmäki) office.

Work tasks
- Assist in electrical design and calculations for large AC induction motors
- Support technical documentation and reporting
- Participate in test result analyses and data reviews
- Help balance the team’s workload through supporting tasks
- Collaborate with engineers, sales teams, and international contacts
We are looking for
- At least a 2nd-year student pursuing a M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering
- Studies focused on electromechanics, electrical machines, or power electronics
- Strong analytical skills and interest in technical problem-solving
- Good communication skills in English; Finnish is considered an advantage but not required
