About the role

As a Project EHS Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring health and safety standards in power plant construction projects. You will identify and review EHS requirements, develop solutions, and collaborate with internal and external teams. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of construction sites and EHS management systems. In this role you will be supporting sales and delivery projects in Americas area and we expect the candidate to be willing and able to travel there.

Work tasks

The Project EHS Manager is responsible for overseeing environmental health and safety across various power plant projects, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe working environment.

• Support sales by identifying and reviewing EHS statutory, regulatory and customer requirements and ensure compliance by developing project specific EHS documentation (EHS plan)
• Develop, document and communicate EHSS information to project managers and construction sites
• Support subcontracting in communicating project EHSS requirements and in evaluation of contractors
• Ensure that EHSS processes, systems, tools and programs are implemented and arrange EHS induction and training for site project organisation.
• Monitor, follow-up, analyze and report on EHS performance for project management

We are looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
• Advanced knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety Management System (EHS)
• Experience in construction sites
• Experience in power plant environments
• Willingnes to travel
• Fluent English written and spoken
