About the role
As a Electrical engineer/Technical Sales Support Specialist, you will provide expert-level electrical design support for large AC induction motors within an international engineering and sales organization. Your work ensures that motor designs meet customer specifications and operational demands while collaborating closely with Sales, Production, After Sales, R&D, and other technical experts globally.
You’ll be part of a team responsible for delivering high-quality technical support, optimizing solutions for customer applications, and continuously developing tools and processes to improve efficiency and service quality.
Approximately 50% of your working time is expected to be on-site in the Helsinki (Pitäjänmäki) office.

Work tasks
- Provide electrical designs and dimensioning for large AC induction motors
- Analyze test results and adjust designs based on data
- Support Sales and After Sales teams with technical solutions
- Collaborate with R&D in product development and technical improvement
- Document technical cases and contribute to the development of tools and processes
We are looking for
- A degree in Electrical Engineering (M.Sc. or B.Sc.)
- At least few years of experience in electrical engineering
- Familiarity with dimensioning electrical machines and related technical calculations
- Understanding of analytical and numerical tools
- Strong communication skills in English, Finnish skills are considered a plus
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience working with rotating electrical machines
- Knowledge of insulation systems, power electronics, thermodynamics, and measurement technologies
- Experience with Finite Element Method (FEM)
