About the role
As a Electrical Design Engineer, you will provide expert-level electrical design support for large AC induction motors within an international engineering and sales organization. Your work ensures that project-specific electrical designs meet customer specifications and operational demands while collaborating closely with Mechanical Design Engineers, Procurement, Project Management, Sales, and other technical experts globally.
Approximately 50% of your working time is expected to be on-site in the Helsinki (Pitäjänmäki) office.

Work tasks
- Create and execute project-specific electrical designs for large AC induction motors
- Supporting purchasing and manufacturing operations
- Support Sales and After Sales teams with technical solutions
- Collaborate with R&D in product development and technical improvement
- Document technical cases and contribute to the development of tools and processes
We are looking for
- A degree in Electrical Engineering (M.Sc. or B.Sc.)
- At least few years of experience in electrical engineering
- Familiarity with dimensioning electrical machines and related technical calculations
- Understanding of analytical and numerical tools
- Strong communication skills in English, Finnish skills are considered a plus
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience working with rotating electrical machines
- Knowledge of insulation systems, power electronics, thermodynamics, and measurement technologies
- Experience with Finite Element Method (FEM)
