About the role
In this role, you will take full ownership of an automation software projects from design to commissioning. Working closely with cross-functional designing and project teams, you will be responsible of developing and programming of the automation software, working with configurations and participating of the comissioning.
You will be part of a collaborative, international team that values continuous learning and professional growth.

Work tasks
- Developing and programming automation software of industrial process applications
- Designing and configuring HMI/SCADA systems for industrial applications
- Creating and updating electrical schematics and control system documentation
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of automation systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to meet the project deadlines
- Participating in occasional international commissioning work
We are looking for
- Educational background in a relevant engineering field
- Strong experience with Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal
- Experience in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA and industrial communication networks
- Knowledge of EPLAN for electrical and control-system documentation
- Ability to read, understand and create electrical schematics and control cabinet documentation
- Experience with testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and system integration
- Knowledge of electrical automation and control systems
- Working proficiency in English
It is meritorious if you have
- Experience with marine automation systems
- Proficiency in the Finnish language
