We are looking for a hands-on Competence Development Specialist to join a global technology leader’s Global Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) team in Espoo. In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating training programs and managing learning platforms for over 1,100 engineers worldwide. About the role
This role focuses on the operational excellence of our competence development initiatives within the CSE department. You will support the Process Owner in building a sustainable training platform while acting as a bridge between technical experts and frontline engineers.

Work tasks
Your responsibilities will be varied and structured around seasonal priorities, giving you a chance to focus deeply on specific operational streams:
- Schedule training cycles and manage the global program calendar across multiple regions.
- Maintain the Learning Portal on SharePoint by updating resources and organizing new sections.
- Manage participant registration and audit certification data within Workday.
- Collaborate with experts to develop structured, production-ready e-learning content.
- Prepare status updates and progress dashboards to track initiative success.
- Support the rollout of pilot training sessions and document participant feedback.
We are looking for
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., HR, Business, Communications, or Engineering/Technology).
- 2 - 6 years of professional experience within L&D operations, learning coordination, or HR operations.
- Experience or strong comfort with Learning Management Systems; along with a proactive, self-taught mindset to navigate structured data systems.
- Proficiency or active familiarity with modern AI tools for content creation, communication, and digital workflows.
- Strong data capability: comfortable auditing, cleaning, and reporting on data spreadsheets and dashboards.
- Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
Additional advantages:

You will work in a hybrid setup from the Espoo office, where the team meets on-site three days a week.
This is a fixed-term contract until December 2026, with an extension likely possible.
