About the role
Enterprise Architecture is about understanding how business, technology, applications, data and people connect across a large organization. As a Junior Enterprise Architect, you will support the organization in developing this big picture and help different teams make better decisions for the future.
In this role, you do not need to be a ready-made architect. What matters most is your mindset: curiosity, willingness to learn, strong communication skills and the ability to understand complex topics from both a business and technology perspective. A technical background is considered an advantage, but it is not a strict requirement.
This is an excellent growth opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, Technology Architecture or IT Architecture. The role has opened because the previous junior in the position has grown forward into more senior responsibilities. You will receive support from experienced colleagues, including a former junior who has successfully developed in the same environment.
The position is permanent and located in Espoo, Keilaniemi, with a flexible hybrid work model. Due to the work being a lot about interacting with people it is preferred that you spend most of your working days at the office.
You are offered
Our client offers you a rare opportunity to grow into Enterprise Architecture in a large, international energy sector organization. You will get to work close to business, technology and development initiatives while learning from experienced architects.

- A permanent role with a strong professional growth path
- Support from experienced architects and a manager who values learning
- A broad view into business, technology, applications and architecture in a large organization
- A flexible hybrid work model in Espoo, Keilaniemi
- A role where your curiosity, communication skills and ability to connect the dots matter more than having all the answers ready
Work tasks
As a Junior Enterprise Architect, your work will focus on supporting architecture-related activities across the organization. You will help create clarity around how different systems, technologies, processes and business needs connect.
You are not expected to master these topics from day one. You will receive guidance and training, and the role is designed for someone who wants to grow.
Your tasks may include:
- Supporting Enterprise Architecture work in business and technology development
- Mapping and understanding applications, systems and their connections
- Helping teams understand how technology supports business goals
- Contributing to business architecture and technology architecture discussions
- Gathering, structuring and communicating information from different stakeholders
- Supporting decision-making by creating visibility into the current and future state of the organization
- Learning architecture practices, tools and ways of working with the support of experienced colleagues
