How to find a new job with Academic Work
Over 200.000 professionals have been employed with our help since 1998. Are you ready to unlock your potential with us?

Jobs especially for early career professionals
Academic Work employs, in particular, early career professionals who have accumulated 0–7 years of experience.
Part-time work
Part-time work is a great way to gain experience and extra income, which is why the tasks are especially suitable for students. There are also many other life situations where part-time work is the best solution.
Full-time work
Our full-time specialist roles are suitable for those who are nearing the end of their studies, recent graduates, and those who have already gained a few years of work experience. Full-time positions include both permanent and fixed-term or project-based roles.

How to use the job search
In our job portal, you can filter the results by industry, type of employment, and required language. Additionally, you can choose whether to see only direct recruitment searches or jobs performed as an Academic Work consultant. Under other search criteria, you can find rarer job types, such as internships and summer jobs.
Activate job subscription
You can directly create a job subscription from your search selections, so you will receive an email notification of new suitable positions. This way, you can be sure to be among the first to know about an open position, giving you a head start in applying. Creating a job subscription also does not require registration.
Creating a job subscription is easy:
- Select your criteria Press 'search'
- Click the 'job subscription' button at the top of the job listing
- Check the criteria used by the job subscription and enter your email
- Press 'subscribe'
- You will receive a confirmation request from us by email, and once accepted, you will start receiving notifications!

How to apply for a job
When you find a job you are interested in, click the 'apply for the job!' button right away! The first time you apply, it goes like this:
Create an account
If you do not already have an account in the academic work portal, click 'register' in the bottom left corner of the view. You can create an account by entering your contact information or by linking it to your google account.
After logging in, you will see the information that is already in our system below the job you are applying for.
Upload your cv in pdf format
We recommend uploading your cv to your profile at the same time, which increases your chances of being contacted for other suitable searches.
Add attachments
Here you can add other necessary attachments, which usually include at least an application/motivational letter.
Done!
That's it! Your profile is now created, and you can submit the application. If the job is not a fit the first time, your profile information will be retained with us for the next application.
