IT Project Manager, Cimcorp, Ulvila

About the role

As an IT Project Manager you are responsible for managing the software-related scope of delivery projects. In this role, you act as a product owner and your responsibilities includes defining the functional scope of the projects, translating customer needs into actionable requirements, planning software activities and guiding backlog priorities. You have a key role in ensuring the alignment between different stakeholders during the entire project lifecycle and managing for example project budget and schedules.

To be successful in this role, you have a strong knowledge of software development processes and agile development methods. You also have strong communication and cooperation skills and ability to manage with different stakeholders.

Work tasks

• Owning the functional software scope of delivery projects and acting as product owner
• Translating customer needs into clear functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Defining and maintaining of the software delivery schedule in close collaboration with project management and software teams
• Collaborating closely with different internal and external stakeholders
• Managing risks, changes, project budget and testing readiness

We are looking for

• Relevant educational background
• Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methods (Scrum)
• Experience in functional requirement definition and backlog management
• Proficiency working with tools such as Jira, Confluence and version control systems (Git)
• Excellent communication and cooperation skills and ability to work with different stakeholders
• Strong delivery mindset and ability to take ownership of the responsibilities
• Willingness to occasional business travelling
• Fluent English skills

Experience in warehouse automation, control systems or large-scale software delivery is considered as an advantage
