About the role
As a Power BI Developer, you will join our client's project which aims aims to enhance the analytical capabilities of the Service Sales and Customer Solutions teams by expanding and improving existing dashboards. You will drive improvements in existing dashboards on PowerBI and Qlik and your core mission is to ensure data integrity and usability by mastering PowerBI’s DAX language to create consistent measures and audit performance. You will translate business requirements into clear analytical visuals, collaborating closely with IT, Business Owners and the Data Engineer.

Work tasks
- Write consistent formulas for measures and visuals across both PowerBI and Qlik Sense
- Master and audit existing PowerBI measures using the DAX language to improve usability and performance
- Understand the data model to pinpoint error sources and collaborate closely with the Data Engineer
- Work closely with stakeholders, such as IT, Business Owners and Data Engineer, navigating priorities
We are looking for
- Relevant educational background (e.g. Business Analytics)
- Mastery of PowerBI's DAX language for designing consistent formulas, calculations, and complex business logic (e.g., margin)
- The ability to write SQL queries or utilize AI-assisted tools to connect to Databricks
- Focus on front-end development, concentrating on data visualization, measure consistency, and performance auditing
- Fluency in written and spoken English
A business background complemented by strong data skills is highly valuable.
