Process Lead (General Ledger & Asset Accounting), Espoo

You will lead the General Ledger and Asset Accounting teams, ensuring efficient daily operations and timely period-end closings. This role is pivotal in harmonizing regional processes and successfully navigating a major ERP implementation.

Work tasks

As the operational lead, you will balance team management with high-level process development and system implementation tasks to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.

• Lead and coordinate General Ledger and Asset Accounting teams globally.
• Oversee, maintain, and develop GL and Asset Accounting processes and documentation.
• Ensure period-end closing tasks are completed accurately according to global schedules.
• Participate in the D365 ERP implementation, including data migration and configuration.
• Manage work distribution, holiday planning, and substitutions within the teams.
• Drive digitalization and automation initiatives across the process cycle.
• Support the finance organization with change management and problem-solving.

We are looking for

• Around 5 years of proven experience within General Ledger and Asset Accounting
• Practical experience with ERP systems and system development
• Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Professional proficiency in English
• Strong skills in resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate records

It is meritorious if you have

• A proven track record of leading senior accountants or finance specialists is a major plus.
• Knowledge of Finnish
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
