About the role
The Port Cranes unit is responsible for the new crane business worldwide. The new delivery project starts from the contract and continues until the end of the warranty period. High performance, usability, and on-time deliveries of quality products are essential in determining the performance of Konecrane's entire customer service.
The Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the entire lifecycle of these delivery projects worldwide and managing the material flow from engineering to the site. They are working simultaneously on several delivery projects, each led by a Project Manager. The role of the Production Coordinator is critical in the successful execution of a project.

Work tasks
- Independently coordinate the delivery projects with other stakeholders in the project team according to the project and process requirements
- Delivery project management in Konecranes' ERP system
- Preparation of project material flow and delivery plans
- Initiate and manage the delivery project at 1KC and other dedicated systems
- Control the production of the delivery project in close co-operation and active communication with internal and external suppliers
- React and resolve unexpected situations in the supply chain
- Improve continuously the Port Crane delivery process and production coordination
We are looking for
To succeed in this role, you'll have a strong technical knowledge obtained from work experience, hobbies, or studies. Preferably, you are a Master of Science or Bachelor of Engineering from a suitable area. We expect you to be target-oriented and analytical with good communication skills. You have a sense of urgency and an attitude to fix deviations quickly. You manage to work simultaneously on several projects and make decisions with incomplete information. You are fluent in English; other languages are considered an asset.
It is meritorious if you have previous experience or knowledge of international supply chain management, production management, and/or continuous improvement. The position might later require some travelling, up to 10-30 travelling days per year.
