About the role
As a Supplier Development Engineer, you will step into a pivotal role within our client’s global supply chain operations. You will be part of an impactful Supplier Development and Category team, working with diverse experts to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Your primary focus will be on New Product Introduction (NPI) and proactive quality assurance, specifically for turned and machined parts as well as piping. You won't just be monitoring numbers; you will be the driving force behind identifying development potential and executing action plans that make a tangible impact on supplier performance. This is a role for someone who enjoys a mix of technical engineering, strategic planning, and hands-on collaboration with international partners.

Work tasks
- Leading new product introduction and proactive quality assurance for machined components
- Monitoring and analyzing supplier performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and driving development actions
- Developing and implementing supplier development plans to enhance quality, delivery, and cost efficiency
- Conducting supplier audits and verifying the impact of follow-up actions
- Supporting suppliers in operational improvement initiatives
We are looking for
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field
- Strong expertise in metal technologies
- Good understanding of Quality Process Management
- Experience with the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Fluecy in English (verbal and written)
- Willingness to travel
Previous auditing experience or lead auditor qualification (e.g ISO 9001) is seen as an advantage .
