About the role
Your daily tasks will depend on your skills and experience. In the beginning, the role is primarily manual work related to post-processing metal parts. For the ideal candidate, such as a second-year university student, there is an opportunity to gradually learn how to operate the 3D printer itself. By the end of studies, you could be involved in programming the 3D printing machine.
This role is an excellent opportunity to work alongside your studies. The preferred start date is possibly already in June-July, but at the latest August-September 2025, with an estimated workload ranging from one day per month to couple weeks per month, depending on project needs.

Work tasks
Post-processing of 3D-printed parts:
- Removing support structures and surface finishing
- Shot blasting and heat treatment
- Assisting in operating and maintaining 3D printers
We are looking for
- English language skills, Finnish is seen as a merit
- Suitable education (e.g. materials engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology)
- Technical hands-on experience gained through hobbies or previous work experience is considered an advantage.
