About the role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will contribute to the design of critical components for large-scale equipment used in global projects. You will collaborate closely with Lead Designers and a diverse international team of engineers. This role offers exposure to unique, custom-built machinery and innovative engineering challenges.
While the team operates across borders, your physical workspace will be in Espoo, where you are expected to work on-site at least three days a week. During the initial onboarding phase, you will be expected to be present at the office even more frequently to ensure a smooth start and effective integration into the team.
This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible, with a target start date in early June. The contract runs until the end of the year, with a possibility for an extension.

Work tasks
This role involves the design and development of mechanical components for heavy-duty machinery, contributing to complex, global engineering projects.
- Design mechanical components for large-scale equipment.
- Collaborate closely with Lead Designers on global projects.
- Perform and verify engineering calculations for custom mechanical parts.
- Develop detailed part designs.
We are looking for
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
- Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks, Inventor or similar CAD software.
- Advanced experience in 3D modeling and drafting.
- Good knowledge of engineering calculations.
- Advanced knowledge of technical drawing.
- Advanced English communication skills.
It is meritorious if you have
- Previous experience with industrial machinery.
- Finnish language skills.
