About the role

As a Project Coordinator, you will be ensuring the smooth execution of our client's digital product and module development projects including various technologies. You will support project managers, manage project timelines and resources, and coordinate with various stakeholders to achieve project goals in a dynamic team environment. The position is based at Sandvik’s Turku site, the primary hub for product development and manufacturing of Load and Haul equipment.

Work tasks

As a Project Coordinator, you will ensure the smooth execution of module development projects within digital product portfolio. You will support Product Line Managers and Project Managers in operational tasks, ranging from scheduling to resource tracking. You will work in a dynamic team environment where innovation and digital tools are at the core of everything we do.

• Project Coordination: Managing projects according to the defined project model and decision-making gates.
• Operational Support: Assisting Product Line Managers with templates, hour estimates, and updating information in the product procurement system.
• Stakeholder Communication: Actively collaborating with project owners, product owners, and other key stakeholders.
• Monitoring: Tracking project progress, costs, and resource allocation across different phases.

We are looking for

• University degree in a relevant field (M.Sc. or B.Sc. preferred).
• Some project experience is an advantage, but some prior coordination experience is also welcomed.
• Experience in digital products implementation projects is an advantage.
• Interest in technology and eagerness to learn about implementation in mining equipment.
• Proficiency in English, Finnish skills are an advantage.
