About the role
In this role you work with large-scale, sustainable energy solutions in a global expert organization. You will receive comprehensive onboarding and the chance to become a specialist in power plant automation. In this position, you get hands-on experience with world-class engineering tools like E3 and modern control systems and you won’t just be behind a desk; you’ll act as a vital technical link between project managers, customers, and international suppliers.
Work tasks
As a Project Engineer, your focus will be on the hardware design of control systems for Engine Power Plants. Your days will be a mix of technical design work and active project coordination.
- Design: Plan and execute control system hardware design according to contract specifications.
- Technical Reference: Act as a technical point of contact for the project team, suppliers, and customers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure project targets (budget, quality, and safety) are met.
- Execution: Contribute to professional and cost-effective project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for
We are looking for a proactive person with a solid technical foundation and a desire to grow. You are detail-oriented but also possess the communication skills needed to thrive in a collaborative project environment.
Our requirements:
- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering.
- Some relevant experience in electrical or automation design.
- Experience with CAD tools (e.g., E3, CADS, AutoCAD Electrical, Vertex).
- Fluency in Finnish or Swedish, as well as professional proficiency in English.
Seen as an advantage:
- Experience with the E3 engineering tool (if not, a willingness to learn is essential!).
- Knowledge of medium voltage protection functions or PLC systems.
- Familiarity with piston engine-driven power plants.
