About the role
This role involves developing, implementing, and verifying FPGA-based firmware in a complex technical environment. You will ensure new designs meet rigorous requirements for grid stability applications, covering the entire lifecycle from requirement analysis to hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) validation.

Work tasks
This role focuses on the development, implementation, and verification of FPGA-based firmware, spanning the entire lifecycle from initial requirements to system-level validation for critical grid stability applications.
- Designing and implementing FPGA logic using VHDL or Verilog for power electronics control.
- Developing requirement specifications and architecture documents for firmware lifecycle.
- Performing RTL simulation and timing analysis.
- Integrating FPGA firmware with embedded software and hardware.
- Supporting system-level HIL testing.
- Coordinating firmware design reviews and ensuring requirement traceability.
- Analyzing and debugging complex timing or logic issues in laboratory environments.
We are looking for
- Knowledge in FPGA development (VHDL/Verilog).
- Experience with FPGA tools like Intel Quartus or Xilinx Vivado.
- Knowledge in RTL simulation and verification methodologies.
- Experience with version control (Git).
- Understanding of hardware-software interfaces and embedded systems.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Background in electronics, electrical engineering, or computer science.
