Documentum REST API Specialist for the banking sector

About the role

The role involves acting as a key consultant to introduce and provide guidance on Documentum API utilization to our client's in-house development team. You will assess their current Documentum environment, analyze their D2 application, and support the integration design, implementation, and testing phases.

Work tasks

This role is centered on providing expert consultancy to enable seamless API integration for Documentum, empowering our client's developers to build applications consuming Documentum APIs effectively.

• Understand current Documentum architecture & components (Content Server, REST, D2, xPlore, etc.)
• Review Documentation - Architecture & Design
• Analyze ACLs, roles, and permission sets for company's D2 application
• Evaluate available APIs for Integration - DFC, REST, DFS
• Support Integration Design with development team (Architecture and data flow, Authentication and authorization model for integration, Error handling and logging mechanisms)
• Provide walkthrough of Documentum APIs and tools
• Assist with API usage and configuration and troubleshoot issues during development

We are looking for

• Advanced expertise in Documentum architecture and integration capabilities, including Content Server and eConnector.
• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks, such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Active Directory, and Authorization Object Rationalization.
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and enterprise system integration.
• Experience implementing secure and reliable solutions, including secure logging mechanisms and robust error handling in distributed environments.
• Solid background in software architecture design, continuous integration, and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Good knowledge of data flow analysis and core Documentum components, including DCS, Xpand, and FC-DCBC.
