About the role
As a Electrical Design Engineer, you will contribute to the electrical and automation design of critical components for large-scale equipment used in global projects. You will collaborate closely with Lead Designers and a diverse international team of engineers. This role offers exposure to unique, custom-built machinery and innovative engineering challenges.
While the team operates across borders, your physical workspace will be in Espoo, where you are expected to work on-site at least three days a week. During the initial onboarding phase, you will be expected to be present at the office even more frequently to ensure a smooth start and effective integration into the team.
This is a full-time position starting according to an agreement, with a target start date in August or September. The contract runs 12 months, with a possibility and an aim for an extension.

Work tasks
This role involves the design and development of electrical components for heavy-duty machinery, contributing to complex, global engineering projects.
- Executing electrical and automation design for tailored customer projects for large-scale equipment.
- Collaborate closely with Lead Designers on global projects.
- Utilizing project requirements to adapt and implement modular software components into the machinery.
- In addition to designing large-scale equipment, your work can consist of developing and testing smaller, independent devices.
We are looking for
- Degree in Electical Engineering (or similar).
- Previous experience in Electrical Design
- Advanced English communication skills.
It is meritorious if you have
- AutoCad and Eplan experience
- Previous experience with industrial machinery.
- Finnish language skills.
