About the role
In this role, your primary responsibility is to develop and maintain embedded software that controls intelligent audio devices, such as amplifiers and emergency communication systems. Your workdays will mainly consist of C programming in an Embedded Linux environment, but you will also participate in critical security work by updating software foundations and managing vulnerability control. The work is very practical and "hands-on" in nature, as you get to test your code directly on physical devices and ensure that the entire system functions seamlessly, right down to the connections.
As part of a tight-knit and experienced team of specialists, you will also handle system configurations and participate diversely in various project lifecycles, which occasionally utilize Java expertise. This is an excellent opportunity to evolve into an expert in embedded systems and modern audio technology in an environment that combines high-level Finnish manufacturing expertise with global markets.

Work tasks
- Update and secure embedded Linux base images
- Develop and maintain embedded software for audio devices
- Configure and troubleshoot complex audio systems
- Resolve bugs related to system configurations and wiring
We are looking for
- Advanced knowledge of C programming
- Good experience with Embedded Linux development
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot embedded systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
- Fluent English communication skills, Finnish is seen as an advantage
- Strong teamwork skills
It is meritorious if you have
- Experience with Yocto
- Familiarity with SIP / Asterisk
- Knowledge of Java programming
- Understanding of signal processing
