About the role
In this role, you will contribute to the development of safe and sustainable products within a global company that plays a key role in resource-based industries. As a Product Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring product safety and compliance. You will participate in product development and design, and support for creating manuals and user documentation Your duties will also include conducting risk assessments and resolving product safety-related issues.

Work tasks
- Ensuring product safety and compliance with applicable standards and directives
- Participating in product development and engineering processes
- You support to create technical documentation, including manuals and user guides
- Performing risk assessments
- Investigating safety concerns and customer feedback
- Handling deviations and defining corrective actions
- Investigating deviations and corrective actions
We are looking for
- A relevant technical education background (e.g. in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic engineering, or an MSc in engineering)
- Experience in product safety
- Knowledge of machinery and safety directives
- Familiarity with machine standards and relevant regulations
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Fluent English skills; Finnish is considered an advantage
It is meritorious if you have
- Experience in safety-related fields
- Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector
