About the role

As a Project Coordinator at Finnpilot Pilotage Oy, you will play a key role in coordinating Finnpilot’s contribution to an international development project focused on advancing operational models for remote pilotage.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that project activities, reporting, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration remain on track. You will work closely with the project manager, development pilots, and international project partners while supporting one of Finnpilot’s key project workstreams.

The project involves regular collaboration with maritime stakeholders across Europe and beyond. A significant part of the role includes facilitating workshops, documenting discussions, and supporting the production of project outputs that contribute to internationally accepted remote pilotage practices.

Work tasks

• Project coordination: coordinating project schedules, deliverables, and internal follow-up activities
• Documentation: supporting in financial tracking and project reporting
• Organizing and facilitating project meetings and workshops: facilitating and documenting international stakeholder workshops and project meetings in English, including meeting minutes and follow-up actions

We are looking for

• Proven ability in project coordination: Previous experience in project coordination, project management, or similar structured project work
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English: Ability to facilitate meetings and workshops confidently in an international environment
• A proactive and structured working style: ability to manage multiple parallel tasks

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience in externally funded development projects
• Experience with requirement specification (software, systems, or business processes)
• Good knowledge of the maritime industry and navigational standards
• Finnish language skills
