Project Manager, Kalmar, Tampere
We are looking for a Project Manager to take full responsibility for selected delivery projects to customers across the globe. The projects focus on modernisations and upgrades of existing container handling equipment – ranging from smaller modifications to large-scale, long-term projects. In this role, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously and be responsible for their successful execution from start to finish.
About the role
As a Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for delivery projects, including planning, resourcing, and execution. Projects typically originate from customer needs to modernize or upgrade their existing container handling equipment.

Work tasks
- Full responsibility for delivery projects from start to completion (including schedule, cost, and scope)
- Coordination of design changes and technical solutions
- Management of engineering work, material procurement, and deliveries
- Supervision and coordination of modification work and installations (remotely and on-site when required)
- Collaboration with customers, designers, suppliers, and installation teams
We are looking for
- A suitable educational background (e.g. mechanical engineering or electrical/automation engineering)
- Previous experience in industrial delivery projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of technical systems and modifications in an industrial environment
- Fluent spoken and written English; Spanish language skills are considered an advantage
It is meritorious if you have
- A basic understanding of industrial technology and machinery
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
