REACH Specialist (Chemistry), REACHLaw, Helsinki

About the role

As a REACH Specialist, you will advise chemical industry clients on EU REACH obligations and support them in responding to increasing regulatory restrictions, including identifying suitable alternatives to restricted substances. The role is practical and focused on delivering clear, actionable solutions that support clients’ regulatory and business needs. You will be part of our expert team in Helsinki but working together with our global subsidiaries.

Work tasks

• Advising industrial clients on EU REACH requirements
• Preparing and managing REACH registrations and inquiries
• Supporting authorization and restriction processes, particularly Analysis of Alternatives
• Contributing to customer relationships and service development
• Supporting marketing and sales activities as needed

We are looking for

• A strong educational background in Chemistry (preferably a university degree such as M.Sc.) or a closely related field
• Interest in regulatory work and working with industrial clients
• Experience from the chemical industry and/or regulatory consulting
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
• A flexible, open-minded, and collaborative working style
• A positive attitude and adaptability

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience in regulatory consulting
• Familiarity with IUCLID and REACH-IT
• Experience within the chemical industry
