About the role
In this position, you will assist the sales team members in different tasks related to sales support. Your daily tasks include preparing offering materials, cost calculations, and communication with clients. You will work closely with other units (e.g. product development) to provide customers with the best possible solutions. You will work in the Digital Service unit as part of a professional team. The Digital Service business line provides remote monitoring and diagnostics services as well as energy advisory solutions to shipowners globally. We work within the ABB network, meaning that the majority of the daily contacts are within the ABB global network.

Work tasks
In this position, you will initially assist team members in various tasks related to sales support, recently growing towards a more independent role. Your daily tasks include, for example, the preparation of tender materials and cost calculations, as well as maintaining contact with customers and updating data in the CRM system. You work closely with other units (e.g., project management or product management) to get the best possible solution for customers. You will work in the Digital Service unit as part of a professional team.
We are looking for
Our ideal candidate is a person who has an educational background in digital services and already has some previous relevant work experience (e.g., through internships or summer jobs). To succeed in this role, you must have good communication and collaboration skills and the ability to be proactive and work independently.
- An educational background in electrical/automation/information technologies studies (UAS/ University)
- Some previous relevant work experience related to sales and/or customer service in a B-2-B environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A proactive and independent attitude
- Fluent skills in English
