You will collaborate closely with various teams, translating complex technical information into clear, accurate, and engaging content for both internal and external audiences.

Work tasks

This role involves producing high-quality technical documentation, from initial composition and illustration to writing and editing. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and create a variety of product and service documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to style guides.

• Perform technical publications production duties including composition, illustration, and technical writing and editing.
• Develop clear written materials to support product development activities.
• Work cross-functionally with Subject Matter Experts to collect product information and specifications.
• Create, develop, update, and publish highly accurate product and service documents.
• Collect and organize technical information and product images, coordinating layout for publication.
• Develop and author technical documentation adhering to publication processes and style guides.
• Write, structure, and publish technical content using DITA XML.

We are looking for

• Advanced knowledge in Technical Writing
• Advanced knowledge in Technical Illustration
• Fluent written and spoken skills in English and Finnish languages
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong aptitude for learning new technical concepts

It is meritorious if you have

• Good knowledge of DITA XML
• Good knowledge of Photoshop or photo illustration tools
• Good understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles
