UX/UI-designer, Helsinki

About the role

As our client's UX/UI Designer, you will have an opportunity to create shippable digital products for the global market, in a leading technology company. You'll be part of a multicultural design team of around 20 professionals and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders across the organization. This is a hybrid role based in Pitäjänmäki, and due to the collaborative nature of the work, your presence at the office is expected on most days.

Work tasks

• UX/UI design for the client's products with focus on creating digital customer experience
• Close collaboration with different project stakeholders, such as product managers, developers and operations
• Arrange and facilitate definition workshops and design sprints
• Conduct user research and usability testing
• Create and maintain documentation

We are looking for

• A Master’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human–Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, or a related design field
• At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI design with at least 2 years of experience in B2B and portfolio showcasing successful delivery of shippable products
• Ability to translate abstract ideas and requirements into production-ready design deliverables
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe CC, Illustrator
• Basic understanding of technologies like Web Components, React, Vue and Angular
• Good knowledge of service design and/or user research methods
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, DevOps)
• Fluency in written and spoken English
