About the role
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join the Eclipse Treatment Planning development team as a parental‑leave substitute.
In this consultant role, you will step into an existing position and help ensure continuity of development and maintenance work during a defined period. The focus is on hands‑on software development, working with a large, established code base in a quality‑ and safety‑critical environment.

Work tasks
- Analyze, design, and implement treatment planning features
- Investigate software issues and implement fixes
- Develop and maintain automated tests
- Participate in verification activities
We are looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong professional experience in C++, at least for a few years professionally
- Experience working with large code bases
- Fluent English, written and spoken
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience with C#
- Knowledge of MFC, SQL, or Microsoft development tools
- Experience from medical device software or regulated environments
