About the role
Your daily tasks will depend on your skills and experience. In the beginning, the role is primarily manual work related to post-processing metal parts. For the ideal candidate, such as a second-year university student, there is an opportunity to gradually learn how to operate the 3D printer itself. By the end of your studies, you could be involved in programming the 3D printing machine.
This role offers a great chance to develop professionally alongside your studies and to build a strong foundation for your post-graduation career. The possible start date can be already in July, but at the latest August-September 2025, with an estimated workload ranging from one day per month to couple weeks per month, depending on project needs and your studies.

Work tasks
Post-processing of 3D printed parts:
- Removing support structures and surface finishing
- Shot blasting and heat treatment
- Assisting in operating and maintaining 3D printers
- Gradually, programming the 3D printing machine
We are looking for
- English language skills, Finnish is seen as a merit
- Suitable technical studies in materials engineering, mechanical engineering, or automation technology, with preferably 2-3 years of study remaining
- Technical hands-on experience gained through hobbies or previous work experience
