About the role

In this role, you will develop C++ application software for cranes in a Linux target environment. Your tasks will include working with embedded systems, implementing new features and maintaining and refactoring existing code for the crane control software used in challenging industrial environments. You will be responsible for ensuring high code quality and reliability, and may have opportunities for occasional travel to client sites.

Work tasks

You will primarily work on application software, focusing on code development and testing, with opportunities to contribute to new projects and support existing systems. You will also support the project organization and the work involves a strong emphasis on practical problem-solving and flexibility. We are looking for

• Relevant educational background
• Strong skills in C++ programming
• Understanding of embedded systems and hardware-level programming
• Fluent English
• Willingness to travel (up to 50 days a year in total)

It is meritorious if you have

• Docker experience
• Experience in control systems through work experience and/or own projects
• Experience with laser scanners 2D and 3D, GPS, positioning navigation, automation
• Background in an industrial environment
• Experience with Jenkins and Robot Framework
