About the role
We are looking for a proactive and development-minded Data & Platform Specialist to support our client, a global leader in its industry, currently undergoing a massive digital and data transformation. In this role, you will play a key part in the Digital Customer Experience area and the Digi & Data team, working on a core strategic project to establish modern data platforms and digital structures.
This is not a typical back-office IT position; it offers a broad spectrum from technical execution to engaging with commercial and business stakeholders. To ensure your success, you will be paired up with a senior consultant and an internal team.Over the first 6–12 months, this setup will provide you with strong support, comprehensive onboarding, and an excellent opportunity to upskill.
Over time, you will have the potential to grow into a broader project-lead and transformation-driver role.
Work tasks
- Developing and maintaining data modeling, data flows, and general semantic data models (data intelligence).
- Performing data analysis and creating visualizations using reporting tools, especially Power BI.
- Contributing to and learning to utilize modern enterprise-level data platforms (such as Snowflake, DBT, Microsoft Fabric).
- Supporting data documentation and data governance processes using appropriate tools (e.g., Collibra, Ellie).
- Coordinating and collaborating closely with business and commercial stakeholders to translate operational needs into unified data structures and driving digital transformation.
- Innovating and reinventing workflows and processes using AI-driven tools.
We are looking for
- A relevant educational background (e.g., Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business Information Systems, Industrial Management).
- A strong technical foundation in data, understanding of data modeling, and hands-on experience with Power BI.
- Good commercial understanding and a genuine interest in working with people and business stakeholders (strong communication and interpersonal skills).
- A fast learner with the appetite and open mindset to quickly pick up new enterprise-level tools and systems – we do not expect a senior, but rather someone with great potential!
- Fluent professional English (written and spoken) is a strict requirement, as it is the official team language. Knowledge of Finnish is considered a plus.
It is meritorious if you have
- Experience or familiarity with modern cloud data architectures (Snowflake, DBT, Microsoft Fabric).
- A background or interest in data management, documentation, and governance tools (Collibra, Ellie).
- Any kind of background or interest related to AI and process automation using AI-driven tools (e.g., Foundry, Copilot Studio, Claude). This experience can be gained through personal projects, studies, or summer traineeships.
