About the role
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the data tools and systems that help our teams make better decisions. You'll work with colleagues across different departments to make sure the right data is available, reliable, and easy to use.
We hope that you could work at our client company's Espoo office, but other locations, such as Valkeakoski and Pietarsaari are also options.

Work tasks
- Build and manage data systems and databases to support analytics and business needs
- Create and improve data pipelines that collect, process, and organize data from various sources
- Work closely with analysts to understand what data they need and how to deliver it efficiently
- Make sure our data processes run smoothly and fix issues when they come up
- Help improve the overall performance and quality of our data infrastructure
We are looking for
- Suitable educational background for the role (e.g. computer science)
- Experience working with data platforms in a business setting
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience in Azure, and with modern data tools such as DBT or Microsoft Fabric
- Experience in writing production-grade ETL pipelines
To succeed in the role, your personal skills are:

- Good communication skills
- Proactive mindset and the ability to work independently
