Electrical Design Lead, Almaco, Turku

About the role

As an Electrical Design Lead, you will ensure high‑quality, compliant, and cost‑effective electrical solutions from concept through delivery, while managing quality, budget, and schedule across the electrical design scope. Your role includes for example reporting electrical design progress and status to the project engineers, preparing technical specifications and defining scope of supply for electrical systems, and acting as a technical support for internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

In addition to technical responsibilities, you will have a key role in collaborating effectively across disciplines and functions, and ensuring alignment in technical discussions.

To be successful in this role, you have an excellent understanding in electrical design and strong project management skills. As a person you are a great communicator with a problem-solving mindset.

Work tasks

• Reporting electrical design progress and status to the project engineer
• Preparing technical specifications and defining scope of supply for electrical systems
• Preparing and maintaining engineering schedules for the electrical design scope
• Acting as a technical support for internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Contributing to continuous improvement and development of engineering practices

We are looking for

• Degree in relevant engineering field
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and methodologies
• Excellent project management skills and ability to lead and coordinate the designing phase
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work in fast‑paced, site‑based project teams
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools
• Fluent in English skills (Finnish skills is seen as an advantage)
