About the role
In this role you will handle a variety of General Ledger and Fixed Assets tasks with a focus on accuracy and deadlines. You will also play a part in strengthening reporting and driving improvements in our client's finance operations.

Work tasks
This role entails managing daily GL and Fixed Assets transactions, performing month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and contributing to financial reporting and internal controls.
- Processing General Ledger and Fixed Assets transactions
- Prepare Fixed Asset and General Ledger (GL) reconciliations and ensure timely month-end closing in line with accounting standards
- Ensuring timely closing of Fixed Assets and GL in accordance with accounting standards
- Execute reporting for group consolidation and perform internal controls for General Ledger and Fixed Asset processes
- Recognizing opportunities for automation and digital improvement
- Prepare relevant audit material and assist in audits
- Assist in preparing and executing tax declarations
- Conduct Fixed Asset inventories
We are looking for
- Solid background in Accounting or Finance
- Experience working in a multinational company environment
- Experience and advanced understanding of core General Ledger (GL) and Fixed Asset processes
- Fluent spoken and written English
It is meritorious if you have
- Good spoken and written Finnish
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
