Finance Specialist (GL & Assets), Espoo

In this role you will handle a variety of General Ledger and Fixed Assets tasks with a focus on accuracy and deadlines. You will also play a part in strengthening reporting and driving improvements in our client's finance operations.

Work tasks

This role entails managing daily GL and Fixed Assets transactions, performing month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and contributing to financial reporting and internal controls.

• Processing General Ledger and Fixed Assets transactions
• Prepare Fixed Asset and General Ledger (GL) reconciliations and ensure timely month-end closing in line with accounting standards
• Ensuring timely closing of Fixed Assets and GL in accordance with accounting standards
• Execute reporting for group consolidation and perform internal controls for General Ledger and Fixed Asset processes
• Recognizing opportunities for automation and digital improvement
• Prepare relevant audit material and assist in audits
• Assist in preparing and executing tax declarations
• Conduct Fixed Asset inventories

We are looking for

• Solid background in Accounting or Finance
• Experience working in a multinational company environment
• Experience and advanced understanding of core General Ledger (GL) and Fixed Asset processes
• Fluent spoken and written English

It is meritorious if you have

• Good spoken and written Finnish
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
