Full Stack Developer, Python / React / AWS – Helsinki

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer for our client to develop and maintain modern, cloud-based applications within product data management and lifecycle management. In this role, you will work at the core of a global technology company’s digital services, where product lifecycle data is processed and utilized for different business needs.

You will work as part of an experienced team responsible for both developing the services and ensuring their functionality. The team is mainly based in Helsinki, but also operates globally. For this role, the key colleagues and stakeholders are especially located in Helsinki. The work combines hands-on software development, data-driven thinking, and collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders.

Work tasks

In this role, your main focus will be hands-on software development. Depending on the project phase, the work may lean more toward backend or frontend development, but ideally the role is fairly balanced full stack development. The team already has strong backend competence, which makes frontend experience especially valuable in this role.

Your tasks include, for example:

• Full stack development in a modern cloud environment
• Backend development, for example with Python and FastAPI
• Frontend development, especially with React and possibly Vite
• Developing and maintaining applications in an AWS environment
• Developing solutions related to product and lifecycle data processing
• Working with the Neo4j graph database and related interfaces
• Developing and utilizing REST API interfaces
• Working with the Jira backlog and independently progressing user stories
• Collaborating with architects, solution engineers, technical stakeholders, and business stakeholders
• Participating in the development, maintenance, and further improvement of services

The person we are looking for

We are looking for a person who already has practical experience in software development and the ability to move tasks forward independently. You do not need to be a ready-made expert in every technology, but you need a strong enough foundation to take ownership of Jira tasks, analyze the required solutions, and drive development forward.

We expect you to have:

• At least a few years of work experience in full stack development
• Strong experience with React and other modern frontend technologies
• Experience in backend development with Python and FastAPI
• Experience of AWS cloud environments
• Understanding of APIs, microservices, and modern software development
• Basic understanding of containers, such as Docker; Kubernetes experience is a plus
• Experience in agile development and DevOps-oriented ways of working
• Ability to write clear, maintainable, and high-quality code
• Fluent spoken and written English skills

We also consider the following as an advantage:

• Experience with a React + Vite environment
• Experience with Neo4j or other graph databases
• Experience with PLM, PDM, or product data management systems
• Experience in development related to lifecycle data, master data, or integrations
• Experience with Angular or other modern frontend technologies
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• A degree in Information Technology, for example from a university of applied sciences or university
• Finnish language skills

Practical information

• Location: West Helsinki, Finland
• Work model: Hybrid, with on-site work at the office at least 2–4 days/week
• Working hours: Full-time
• Start: As soon as possible / June 2026
• Duration: Permanent employment contract with Academic Work
• Salary: Approximately 4,000–5,200 €/month, depending on experience

Schedule

• Weeks 21–22: Interviews with Academic Work
• Week 23: Interviews with our client company in Helsinki
