We are looking for an Intern, HR Specialist to join UPM Plywood HR team in Otepää, Estonia. This is a six-month fixed-term journey (starting date negotiable) where you’ll be a vital part of UPM's global community.

This role is crucial in supporting the HR Manager in Otepää Mill, the factory that employs over 200 people. Your weekly schedule could include

Work tasks
As our HR Intern, you will be the "glue" that helps our team shine. Your days will be diverse, including:
- Talent Acquisition: Assisting in recruitment and creating "wow" experiences for new hires.
- Digital HR: Becoming a pro in the Workday system and handling reporting.
- Communication: Drafting engaging internal messages that keep our personnel informed.
- People Development: Facilitating sessions based on your own interests and skills.
- Special Projects: Supporting Plywood-level HR initiatives and local site projects.
We are looking for
We don't expect you to know everything yet, but we hope you bring:
- The Right Mindset: You are proactive, result-driven, and love networking with people. You have a genuine hunger to grow into a top-tier HR professional.
- Studies: You have some relevant university or college-level studies under your belt.
- Communication Skills: You are fluent in both Estonian and English.
- Integrity: You understand the importance of confidentiality in HR.
- Location: You are ready to work fulltime in Otepää Mill
- It is meritorious if you already have experience from HR field
