Jr. Fullstack Developer for energy sector, Espoo

About the role

We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of fullstack development and a strong interest in JavaScript-based development. You'r main focus woud be working with the Boost AI's Chatbot. The most important thing is not a years of experience, but the right attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to take ownership.

Work tasks

In this role, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the chatbot environment, with a strong focus on Google Tag Manager and JavaScript-based scripting. You will ensure how, where, and when the chatbot appears, how it connects with other systems, and how the overall customer experience is built.

• Replicate project environments from scratch and build applications end-to-end in Google Tag Manager.
• Implement authentication flows to ensure secure and seamless user access.
• Integrate multiple API flows essential for chatbot functionality.
• Expand chatbot availability to new regions, supporting Nordic market growth.
• Manage and execute all deployments, including staging rollouts and production releases.
• Set up custom tags and triggers in Google Tag Manager for enhanced tracking.
• Provide fixes for existing bugs within the production environment.

We are looking for

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Fullstack JavaScript development, including Vanilla JavaScript
• Basic understanding of React.
• Basic knowledge of testing methodologies and practices.
• Understanding of frontend development and Google Tag Manager.
• Interest in testing and ability to support end-to-end testing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent in English.

It is meritorious if you have

• Finnish, Swedish and Norwegian language skills are considered an advantage.
• Experience with commercial chatbot products.
