Process Automation Developer, Wärtsilä, Vaasa (or Helsinki)

Work tasks

As a Process Automation Developer your work will include designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort across business processes. You will be working closely with different stakeholders to understand automation needs and build scalable solutions. This position also involves supporting platform operations, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of automation practices and tools. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of Process Automation team with diverse expertise.

Your work tasks will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automation workflows using UiPath and related technologies
• Supporting platform configuration, deployment, and monitoring across virtual environments
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand automation needs and provide technical guidance
• Contributing to the development of reusable components, templates, and documentation
• Contributing to the trainings for citizen developers and Process Automation experts
• Organizing cross-functional meetings, workshops, and forums to promote knowledge sharing and alignment
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to automation performance and platform stability
• Staying informed about emerging automation technologies and recommend enhancements

We are looking for

• Hands-on experience with the UiPath platform or other process automation tools
• Experience with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript, or VB.NET)
• Experience with working with APIs, databases, and integrations across systems
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, with hands-on experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Git.
• Familiarity with Git version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Fluency in English

Experience with building agents, Process Mining and Communication Mining is considered strongly beneficial.
