Senior Electrical Engineer- Industrial Motor Drives, Tampere

About the role

In this role, you will lead the electrical lifecycle of a complex performance test platform. Your work is technically demanding and versatile: you will be responsible for system specification, design, and ultimately, commissioning. You will work with large-scale industrial motor drives and complex control systems, ensuring all solutions meet rigorous industry standards. You will work in close collaboration with a global network, following our client's modern operating models.

Work tasks

• Electrical design and specification of a multi-drive test system
• Management of inverter-controlled electric drives
• Working with ELV and LV systems (up to 1500Vdc / 1000Vac)
• Implementation and documentation according to the EN 60204-1 standard
• Participation in system testing and validation phases

We are looking for

• A relevant educational background in electrical engineering
• Strong proficiency in E3 and Teamcenter design tools
• Experience with industrial motor drives and instrumentation
• Hands-on commissioning experience and the ability to troubleshoot complex logical errors
• Professional fluency in English

It is meritorious if you have

• Knowledge of power electronics and AC systems
• A global market perspective and experience from multiple engineering environments
