About the role
In this role, you will perform in-depth laboratory testing, measurement, and analysis of complex power electronics PCBAs. You will collaborate closely with design engineers to validate performance, ensure product reliability, and improve testing efficiency. This position requires hands-on experience in measuring, debugging, and analyzing power supply circuits — not just operating instruments, but understanding how circuits behave, interpreting results, and knowing which measurement methods and tools to apply.

Work tasks
This role involves extensive hands-on laboratory work focused on the testing, modification, and validation of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs). It includes component research, functional testing, and trace modification to ensure product performance and reliability.
- Perform laboratory testing, validation, and analysis of PCBAs containing power electronics and power supply circuits
- Measure and interpret circuit operation across different power stages and control loops (e.g. converters, inverters, SMPS)
- Develop and execute test plans, measurement setups, and reporting procedures
- Rework and modify PCBAs, build prototypes, and support hardware debugging
- Collaborate directly with design engineers on test planning, results interpretation, and design improvements
- Ensure test environments, equipment, and documentation meet high quality standards
We are looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field
- Proven experience in PCBA testing for power electronics / power supply circuits
- Solid understanding of analog and digital electronics, and how power circuits behave under different conditions
- Practical experience with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, electronic loads, and related measurement tools
- Hands-on skills in PCBA rework, soldering, and prototype building
- Background in power electronics design or previous collaboration with hardware designers is a strong advantage
- Independent, proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively in a senior-level engineering team
It is meritorious if you have
- Experience with SMPS, DC/DC converters, or inverter design and testing
- Familiarity with lab automation tools (Python, LabVIEW) and data analysis
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with R&D and test development teams
