Mechanical Design Engineer, Hyvinkää

About the role

We are now looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client’s structural mechanics design team in Hyvinkää. In this role, you will work with customer-specific projects where standard solutions are not sufficient, designing customized mechanical structures and ensuring their functionality and safety. You will have the chance to develop your expertise step by step, starting with simpler tasks and gradually growing into a senior-level specialist with strong support from experienced colleagues. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an engineer with a few years of experience who is motivated to develop in mechanical design within an international and supportive environment.

Work tasks

• 3D mechanical design
• Design of steel structures, beams, and joints
• Collaboration with customers and project stakeholders
• Supporting project documentation and schedules
• Possibility to apply or develop knowledge in strength calculations

We are looking for

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design (recent graduates will also be considered)
• Skills in 3D design (Creo or other CAD)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills – willingness to interact with customers is important
• Fluent English skills (Finnish is an advantage)

Additional advantages

• Knowledge or education in strength calculations
• Experience in digital tools such as Power BI or AI-based solutions
• Understanding of steel structures and material joints
