About the role
This role is pivotal in establishing a new technical support team, focusing on spare parts for a wide range of equipment. You will be instrumental in building a crucial knowledge base and providing rapid technical solutions to internal and external partners, ensuring smooth operations across European markets. You will gain unique expertise in a critical area, benefit from a flexible hybrid work model (you are expected to work on-site in Hyvinkää three days a week), and have the potential for long-term engagement beyond the initial 6-month contract.
Work tasks
The role involves providing technical support for spare parts, requiring in-depth investigation, problem-solving, and collaboration to ensure efficient service delivery and knowledge building within a new team.
- Investigate and identify spare parts
- Resolve technical issues quickly for field personnel
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to find solutions
- Analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Provide essential technical guidance to service teams
We are looking for
- Technical education in electrical or mechanical engineering, or product-oriented design/manufacturing
- Advanced ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of handling diverse technical challenges
- Good knowledge of English
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with diverse personalities and teams
It is meritorious if you have
- Good knowledge of German, Italian, or French.
- Work experience from similar tasks
